About Pier-Andrée Joyal
Ms. Joyal is a music educator with over 35 years of teaching experience. She holds a Bachelor of Music and a Bachelor of Education and is a Certified Teacher with the Royal Conservatory of Music, specializing in Piano and Theory. Attention to detail and artistic development are key elements of Ms. Joyal’s teaching approach. As a Certified Teacher with the Music for Children program, she is well-equipped to work with younger students.
A lifelong learner herself, Ms. Joyal has had the privilege and honor of studying with two esteemed masters, Dr. Boris Konovalov and Dr. André Laplante.
Ms. Joyal is fluent in both French and English.

Founded in 1979, Studio Pier-Andrée Joyal has been a beacon of musical education, whether in Winnipeg MB, Vancouver B.C., Yellowknife NT, Panama PA, Montreal QC, or currently in Sainte-Catherine-de-Hatley, QC. Led by the passionate and skilled Pier-Andrée Joyal, our studio has inspired and shaped the musical journeys of countless students across Canada and beyond for several decades. As the founder and principal instructor, Ms. Joyal nurtures her students' talents, helping them realize and achieve their full musical potential through her love, joy, immense patience, and unwavering devotion.
